February 20, 2011
On Sunday February 27 The American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be doling out statues affectionately called “Oscar”. I realize that award shows don’t necessarily make for “great” television. But like any spectator activity it gets a lot more fun when you get involved. Last year I had friends over for our “Oscar Party” and made it a game to see who got the most correct predictions. The winner left our home with a handsome prize. I’ve decided to expand this game to you. The prize is a $10 itunes gift card. Predictions need to be posted below by Saturday February 26. So you have a little less then a week to watch the films, read predictions and consult your cinephile friend. To make it easy to complete the ballots, ‘copy’ the Nominations category I’ve posted in the ‘Comment’ section and then ‘paste’ it into your own ‘Comment’ and type in your guess. Remember, it needs to be in the ‘Comment’ section by Saturday February 26. Good luck. Speaking of winners, here is a picture of the Care Package Raffle winner.
Oh no!!! I hate losing, it’s up there with getting the flu and the common cold at the same time!!!
