Right from the beginning you are caught by the intrigue and authenticity of this film. Somehow the director leads you to believe that these kind of people actually exist. You want to believe that there are retired anarchists out there that will take an african boy into their house for lodging. You want to believe that despite the surmounting obstacles that illegal immigrants face, that somehow there is a way to force government in their favour. But then again, you don’t know what “the hop” is. I readily suggest you rent this and get swept away by this tale.
