Facts: Tom Hanks shares a scene with his son Colin Hanks. The film is loosely based on the famous mentalist “The Amazing Kreskin”.
Critical Review: It should have been funny to have John Malcovich portray a “has been” mentalist, but it wasn’t. It was mildly amusing but lacked the humour he possessed in The Rounders. This is a forgettable film that had potential but failed instead by a cast that seemed uninterested and unmotivated.
