I can’t help see a parallel to the true-life scandal this film portrays to the fake “reality-shows” that are consumed by the masses. We don’t really care if we’re lied to just as long as we are entertained along the way. How NBC remained untouched by this scandal is an eery realization of how powerful the media is.
