Food, Inc.

Having already read “Fast Food Nation” there was nothing overly surprising in this documentary.  However, it was still shocking to actually see some footage of what occurs in chicken farms and slaughterhouses.  I found the tone of this film more hopeful than expected.  There are alternatives to eating “big brand” food. There are real discernible decisions we can make when we are in the grocery store.  What really surprised me at the end was how Wal-mart is attempting to be more conscious of its global impact.  Not sure if  I can fully buy it but, it is a step in a positive direction.  Watch this film and let me know what you think.
