Okay so this wasn’t a profound movie that stemmed from calculated logic. Nor was it a creative comedic rendition of a reasonable plot. But I laughed hard when they began their first “couples excercise”. What surprised me was how hopeful and idealistic this movie was. Seeing Vaughn and Favreau together would indicate some sort of cynicism yet I failed to find it here. There is the typical “cheap” humour and brand-basterdizing that we’ve come to expect from films lately. So if you’re thinking about watching this or not…Boom…Encouragement.
