Wife: “I don’t want to watch a sad movie.”
Me: “It’s not a sad movie. I can tell by the title.”
Wife: “If it ends up sad I will be mad at you.”
Me: “Alright…I just have a feeling that it’s a happy movie.”
If you’ve seen “Mozart and the Whale” with Josh Hartnett you’ll think it’s a bit redundant. Mental disabilities have a strange way of being comedies with tragic underpinnings. This movie is no exception. Although my wife thought it was sad I felt satisfied with the conclusion.
