Preamble: Meryl Streep is fascinating. In no moment do I feel she is playing a caricature of Julia Childs. Streep is brilliant as always. Amy Adams is superb. She can be sweet, cute and vulnerable all at the same time without seeming weak or fake.
After watching this movie I’m inspired to:
1. Make Boeuf Bourguignon some time in the very near future.
2. Commit to a personal challenge that I will chronicle on this site. Not so I have a movie made of me where I’m portrayed by Johnny Deep (!) Instead, it’s for the sheer task of the discipline and honesty it will force me to.
