Did you know that Mulholland Dr. was actually meant to be a TV series? David Lynch supposedly pitched the intro part of the movie to TV execs and told them if they wanted to know what happened next that they would have to buy the series. Because they said no it eventually got compiled into a movie. Is that why it’s indiscernible? Or is it because it’s a Lynch film? I liken this film to getting lost and hating every bit of it until you look back and say “It’s kind of exhilarating to feel lost isn’t it?”
